Did You Know? – Reflexology and Your Feet

Your feet contain over 7,000 nerve endings, and in reflexology these are mapped to different organs and systems throughout the body. By applying gentle pressure to specific reflex points, we can help stimulate and support those areas.

For example:

• Toes – linked to the head and brain, often worked to help relieve tension, headaches, and mental stress.

• Ball of the foot – connected to the heart and lungs, helping support breathing and circulation.

• Arch of the foot – corresponds with digestive organs such as the stomach, pancreas, and liver.

• Inner edge of the foot – relates to the spine, often worked to help with tension and overall alignment.

• Heel area – linked with the lower back, sciatic nerve, and pelvic area.

When these reflex points are stimulated, it encourages relaxation, improved circulation, and supports the body’s natural balance.

Many people leave a reflexology session feeling deeply relaxed, lighter in their body, and clearer in their mind.

Sometimes the best way to support your whole body…

is to start with your feet.

So get in touch and give your feet a treat
